PLAN

Your story might be an extension of an idea from one of the Preparation activities or a totally new idea.

Create a storyboard on a piece of A3 paper

Drawing pictures to plan out the story is a good way for students to visualise their thinking around a story.
Some text could be added, but encourage this to be kept to a minimum.
Use the template to give the students a structure to follow.

or ...... A bit more involved StoryBoard structure?

The story plan could be to make a picture book, create a written story,
record an audio story or record a video, this doesn’t have to be created now......
this is just the plan.

Idea: ! Produce a Digital Flipbook
of Students’ StoryBoard

Diagrams do not need to be elaborate
The drawings depict what the story is about
and enables the student to visualise the story
to provide a basis for sentence construction later.
